Yoga and Surf in Paradis Plage are simply fabulous. My favourite things were members of staff in general, breakfast, my beautiful room, yoga classes, surf lessons and location right on the beach.
You can use the yoga room for self-practice if you want, which was great for me.
The surf team drove us to better locations when there was no surf in front of the hotel.
As the name says, it’s a Paradise. -

Visited August 2018Paradis Plage is the best place I have ever visited for Yoga. Not only that, the spa treatments were unbelievable and the hotel in general was very welcoming. Members of staff could not do enough to make my stay there a pleasurable one. My suite was superb, it really was palatial! I would say at least half the people staying were women travelling solo. The atmosphere was friendly without being intrusive. There was no stigma whatsoever attached to travelling alone. Health and Fitness Travel was fantastic, helpful and never pushy: highly informed and gentle in the approach, and everything went perfectly with the arrangements. For anyone looking to go, I recommend not exchanging money at the airport - there was actually no need to have any currency at all during my stay. And even if you book breakfast only, all the meals can be charged to the room. Also, you only need very casual, sporty attire as the atmosphere, whilst smart, is super relaxed. I really hope to be back next year! - it proved to be a total tonic and a life-reboot.

Visited May 2018I was specifically seeking a holiday which would offer me excellent fitness and wellness facilities and Health and Fitness Travel recommended Paradis Plage. I’m so glad I have now discovered this gem! Healthy food (and not so healthy if you wish!), great gym, wonderful yoga, beautiful weather, gorgeous hotel and lovely staff. Not to mention the incredible price. What more could you want?! I’m looking forward to returning next year.

Visited February 2018We really enjoyed our stay at Paradis Plage – really lovely hotel, great staff, fantastic facilities. Yoga is second to none and the spa treatments are super high quality. I recommend having the Hammam – my favourite. The booking process, flights, transfers, everything was just smooth and stress-free. One of the best holidays we ever had, by far!

Visited December 2017I had a great time at Paradis Plage! The room was excellent - front facing with lovely sea view - and very sizeable. Yoga quality is second to none! Members of staff are very helpful and friendly. I recommend doing Haman treatments, they are all superb. I have also played golf and walked the beach most mornings before breakfast which was nice.

Visited June 2017The sunrise yoga was the perfect start to the day followed by a great breakfast, and then sauna and relaxing massage… later on, surf! What else could I ask for?! Gorgeous holiday! The rooms were spacious and we had a lovely Seaview. The hotel accommodated our late checkout request and everything was perfect. Health and Fitness Travel was very patience and helpful with my booking. I’ll book again, 100%.

Visited June 2017What a wonderful holiday! Not only the hotel is gorgeous, but the members of staff and the personal trainers can only be described as outstanding! My schedule during the week was beautifully coordinated by the kind and charming Receptionist, who has gone the extra mile to accommodate the times I requested. I just wish I had spent more than 10 days there… but hey! Next year!

Visited March 2017A worthy 5* resort! Beautiful. Everything so clean and beautifully designed!
The Yoga Shala has amazing sea views, the staff are always calmly happy and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble. They could cater for my multiple food allergies with no problems at all, which was amazing! I loved the breakfasts, in particular. The yoga and surfing teachers are real pros and the yoga classes took into account those who wanted to start early (8am class), later (11am class) and the beautiful sunset yoga (5.30pm), so there was always time to sleep, sunbathe, swim, go for a camel or horse ride, eat etc. and still fit it more than one class per day. All equipment (mats, pillows and everything else) is top quality too. I did up to 3 yoga classes a day with a pro yogi, and developed several of my asanas further, while reaching a near meditative state during the yin-yoga classes watching and listening to the ocean. It was definitely a yoga holiday to remember!

Visited March 2017The Yoga classes are absolutely amazing! Lots of different options, suitable to everyone’s abilities – from beginners to regular practitioners. The instructors area all hugely attentive to each person attending the class and to their abilities & needs, which makes the Yoga at Paradis Plage a much more personal experience. They also inject a little humour into the classes which I personally really value – some Yoga tutors can be way too serious sometimes! Will book again with Health and Fitness Travel, as the prices are very competitive and the booking is hassle free. Recommend 100% to Yoga lovers.

Visited March 2017Everything about Paradis Plage exceeded my expectations! Every time I thought that the holiday couldn't get any better, it did! The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was perfect with stunning sea views. The yoga and fitness were impeccable and the instructors were great. The massages were out of this world - in such a tranquil environment. Great memories! Can't thank Health and Fitness enough for organising a perfect holiday!

Visited January 2015Paradis Plage was a really lovely place, and I had a lovely time. The fact that the hotel isn't huge and that it's quieter early Jan was a definite bonus for me. I enjoyed knowing that I had the place to myself after about 3rd Jan, very luxurious!!
Highlights would be the yoga studio (doing yoga whilst hearing the surf wash up within a few feet of the studio and watching the sun go down with it is hard to beat!), the amazing yoga teacher (standing in for their usual guy, who I'm sure is also great), the empty long beach, the heaps of cute stray kittens and the friendly staff.

Visited September 2014I had the most amazing and enjoyable holiday ever at paradis plage last week. The staff were all very friendly and couldn't do enough to help me. I loved all of the facilities, Jesse have me a couple of hard but enjoyable fitness workouts. Karim introduced me to yoga, was very patient with me and my stiff body, and made the whole experience very enjoyable. Khalid taught me how to surf, although (no fault of his) I wasn't very good lol. I also had 3 wonderful massages, and did runs along the beach and daily gym sessions. Therefore I came home relaxed, chilled, revitalised, fitter and healthier. I actually lost half a stone although the for was good. It just encouraged me to look after myself and eat healthily.
Thanks again for a wonderful and truly unforgettable experience

Visited December 2013I had a lovely relaxing time at Paradis Plage. The management staff we great on the front desk and the setting for the yoga was great. I enjoyed the sessions.
I did have lots of spa treatments!, and maybe next time would concentrate more on yoga, as I had two of their standard packages booked with them. The spa was good, some treatments better than others.

Visited November 2013The holiday was great, it ticked all the right boxes.
The hotel was really high quality, the food was exceptionally good, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The personal trainer was very competent, I basically had his full attention for the whole week as the place was almost empty. We had great weather, and overall it was good value for money.

Visited September 2013Just come back from an amazing week at Paradis Plage in Agadir. The hotel staff were super accommodating and we had the most amazing Yogi (Lovely Nico) for the week. I miss our 3 hours of practice a day! Food was very good and the fitness trainer personalised programmes for us to follow eery day. As long as you are happy to design your own programme and don't expect a structured class agenda, then this is the holiday for you! We would definitely go again. 10/10

Visited August 2013I really can't praise Paradis Plage enough.... the staff are attentive, professional and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. They really make the place special. The hotel is absolutely spotless (they clean constantly!), beautiful and had everything we needed. We took surf lessons with Simo - he took us to different beaches depending on the conditions. Highly recommended! There was also yoga daily and a gym - small, but with key stuff like a bike, treadmill, free weights, multigym, cross trainer.
We had a premium suite which was huge, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The breakfast buffet had a really great selection (including cakes baked fresh that morning as well as more healthy options and pancakes and eggs cooked to order) as did the evening buffet (try the tagine, delicious).
Highs
- The coastal region of Agadir is idyllic, and set away from the hustle and bustle of crowds.
- Specialising in surfing, in addition to yoga and spa, Paradis Plage fills a niche gap in the wellness retreat market.
- The yoga spot is stunning, and whether you are a beginner or esteemed yogi, the instructor is both supportive and helpful.
- The beach at the hotel is private.
- There are lots of activities geared towards adrenaline-junkies – mountain biking, 4x4 excursions, and watersports, to name a few.
- The spa offers an array of traditional Moroccan and French treatments, utilising high quality local products. This is both relaxing and feels incredibly authentic.
- Those who prefer to be a little more zen needn’t worry, the yoga sessions are daily and treatments are holistic.
- Dine to your heart (and stomachs) content, on fresh, healthy Moroccan cuisine and tapas. There are four restaurant options.
Lows
- Due to the climate, you can expect a few flies in the outdoor areas.
- The sea directly outside of the resort is calm, best for novice surfers. More advanced surfers can expect a 5-45min drive for good waves.
- Agadir airport is 60 minutes away, so expect a little drive upon landing in Morocco.
- If you visit during Ramadan, lots of the surrounding shops and restaurants will be closed.
